Quality & shipping

How a KLP order is sampled, checked and shipped to Australia.

Every order is made to order, which means quality is decided before production starts rather than inspected at the end. Two things do most of that work: a physical sample you have signed off, and paperwork that names the material before anything is cut.

Sample before bulk

Nothing goes into a bulk run until you have approved a physical sample. The sample is what settles the things a drawing cannot: how the wrap reads in daylight, how the foil sits against it, the fit of the insert against your product, and whether the lid closes the way it should.

Samples take about 7 days from artwork approval. Sample cost is quoted per project, because it depends on the number of print passes and whether a die has to be cut.

Materials and documentation

Materials are named and referenced by standard number before production begins, so what arrives is what was quoted. We build in corrugated board, rigid greyboard, SBS board, white kraft and coated art paper.

Finishes include hot foil stamping, screen and pad printing, laser engraving, emboss and deboss, spot UV, soft-touch lamination, electroplating and epoxy dome.

Lead times

  • Sample — about 7 days from artwork approval, cost quoted per project.
  • Production — 15–30 days, depending on the construction and the finishing.
  • Freight to Australia — consolidated to Sydney and Melbourne, about 30 days door to door.

The minimum order is 1,000 पीसी, in tiers of 1,000–4,999, 5,000–9,999 and 10,000+ पीसी. Tell us the date you need it by and we will tell you whether that date is realistic before you commit to it.

How it ships

Gift boxes travel inside printed outer cartons, so the presentation box is never asked to be the shipping container. Anything that could touch — a bottle, चश्मा, a tool — sits in its own cavity in the insert, which is what keeps a set intact over the last mile.

Freight is consolidated, so a mixed order of boxes, glassware and print arrives as one shipment with one set of paperwork rather than as separate consignments.

Before the cartons are sealed

Each production run is checked against the signed-off sample before it is packed, so anything that has drifted is caught before the cartons are sealed rather than after they land in Australia.
