Drawer box

A rigid outer sleeve with a sliding tray inside — two layers, opened one after the other.

A burgundy drawer box with the tray pulled out — a bottle in the sleeve, two tumblers in the tray.

Construction

An outer sleeve wrapped in printed paper, with a tray that slides out of one end. That gives two separate layers to work with: the bottle stands in the sleeve, while glasses or accessories lie in the tray and come out with it. A ribbon pull or a thumb cut-out in the board is what opens it. The sleeve and the tray are wrapped separately, so the outside and the inside can be finished differently, and the tray is die-cut to your contents so each item sits in its own shape.

What it is used for

  • A bottle plus two tumblers
  • Two-layer gift sets
  • Barware and glassware sets
  • Trade and corporate gifts
  • Retail gift sets

A drawer box gives you two separate places to put things, and it presents them one after the other. The bottle stands in the outer sleeve; the glasses, tools or accessories are laid in the tray and arrive as the tray slides out. It is the sequence that makes it work — the gift reveals itself rather than arriving all at once.

Both the sleeve and the tray are wrapped separately, so the outside can be quiet and the inside can be printed. Send us what has to go in each layer and the quantity, and we will come back with the tray depth, the insert layout and a price.

Common questions

How does it open?
The tray slides out of the sleeve, pulled by a ribbon or a thumb cut-out in the board.
Can the tray be divided?
Yes — the tray is die-cut to your contents, so a bottle, two glasses and a tool can each have their own cut-out.
Can the inside be printed?
हाँ. The sleeve and the tray are wrapped separately, so the inside faces are print areas.
Does the tray come right out?
It can be made to slide clear, or to stop part way so the tray stays held in the sleeve.
What is the minimum order?
1,000 पीसी, in tiers of 1,000–4,999, 5,000–9,999 and 10,000+ पीसी.
Do you hold stock sizes?
नहीं. Every box is made to order against your contents and your approved sample.
