Folding carton

A one-piece printed carton, die-cut and folded — the multi-pack that carries itself.

A plain kraft corrugated bottle carrier with die-cut windows holding three bottles.

Construction

A one-piece carton, die-cut and creased from printed board, that folds around the product and closes with a tuck flap or a glued seam. It is supplied flat and assembled as it is packed, rather than arriving as a finished rigid box. Die-cut windows can be added so the bottles show through, and because the board is printed directly the whole outer face is print area, with no wrap joins to line up. This is the construction for multi-packs and retail sets rather than single gifts.

What it is used for

  • Beer, drinks and multi-packs
  • Three-bottle carriers
  • Retail shelf sets
  • Promotional packs
  • Value sets

The folding carton is the construction for carrying rather than presenting. It is die-cut and creased from printed board, supplied flat, and folded around the product as it is packed — so a multi-pack arrives on the shelf in its own carrier with nothing else needed.

Die-cut windows let the bottles show through, and because the carton is printed directly there are no wrap joins to line up. Send us the pack format — how many, what size, what has to show — and we will come back with a die line and a price.

Common questions

Does it arrive assembled?
NEIN. It is supplied flat and folded around the product as it is packed.
Can there be a window?
Yes — die-cut windows can be added so the bottles show through the board.
Is it as strong as a rigid box?
They are built for different jobs. A carton carries a multi-pack on a shelf; a rigid box presents a single gift.
Can it carry a handle?
Yes — a die-cut carry handle can be built into the die line.
What is the minimum order?
1,000 PCs, in tiers of 1,000–4,999, 5,000–9,999 and 10,000+ PCs.
Do you hold stock sizes?
NEIN. Every carton is made to order against your pack and your approved sample.
